The Survivor Circle is ASTRO's way of giving back to the cancer community during our Annual Meeting. Each year we offer two Survivor Circle grants of $8,500 to non-disease site specific cancer support organizations in the states that we visit during our annual scientific meeting. The Survivor Circle Grant program is an excellent opportunity for support organizations to advance their projects and get some recognition in the ASTRO community.
Groups who are interested in participating must:
- Be an established organization (can be local or national in scope).
- Be a support organization located in the state where the ASTRO Annual Meeting is being held.
- Provide support to patients and/or families of patients with cancer.
- Be non-disease site specific.
We are currently looking for two support organizations in the state of Texas for the 2015 Survivor Circle Grants. The selected groups will receive their grants October 18 at ASTRO's 57th Annual Meeting in San Antonio. The application deadline for the 2015 Survivor Circle Grant is April 27, 2015.
