The Survivor Circle Grant was created as a way for ASTRO to honor cancer survivors and help raise awareness of the support groups who assist the patients ASTRO members treat. Each year ASTRO awards two grants of $12,500 to cancer support organizations in the state that hosts the Annual Meeting.
Congratulations to the the 2025 Survivor Circle Grant recipients.

Carter's Foundation offers several meaningful programs for children facing cancer treatment or hospitalization in Southern California. The Hospital Delivery Program delivers carefully selected toys, books, and games to hospitals, helping to ease stress and uplift spirits. Through the B.E.E. Strong Dream Room Program, we create calming, personalized environments in hospital rooms to provide a sense of comfort and peace. Our Carter's Video Game Cart brings the joy of gaming directly to patients with a mobile system designed for easy sanitation and fun. The Spotlight Kid Program celebrates the strength and resilience of children by delivering recognition packages and surprises to their homes. Finally, Parent Packs offer families much-needed toiletries and supplies during unexpected hospital stays.

At Latinas Contra Cancer (LCC), we ensure no one battles cancer alone. This means we are there for our clients as they navigate a cancer diagnosis and other obstacles they and their families face on the road to survivorship. By overcoming obstacles caused by a healthcare system that places an extra burden on those already struggling through economic or social barriers, our clients have powerful stories of resilience and community.
